... Cosimo was there, then his son, then finally Roseanna's mum! Angelina cooked rabbit (coniglio), 3 types of beans cooked together, bread, coppa, cheese etc. my favorite were the beans. We enjoyed our last meal of wild capers marinated, also home marinated artichokes and beans, all which are totally delicious. We have enjoyed a relatively quiet day. Sam was up and enjoyed some quiet time with Giovanna before I joined them around 0830. We decided to have a swim and then we would go and organize the train to Naples. As I was getting ready, Maurizio, Roseanna, Guiseppe and Alessia arrived, so they joined us at the beach too. Carmelo is working today and Vincenzo is studying so they missed out on a swim.

The castle and churches were occupied during WW 11 and as a result a lot of valuable artifacts have been either stolen or destroyed. The day was extremely hot, and we were all sweating. I got sunburned on my shoulders, even though I had SPF 30 on! We spent half day here as Sam had said we would have lunch at his sisters, so it meant compacting a full day into half so we could make lunch.
