The sun was up and extra hot very early this morning. Blogging with my coffee was much too hot, so I retreated below deck, to recollect my thoughts. Our "run in the sun" was only about 3 hours, cruising thru glass-like waters with maybe a dozen other boats of varying sizes and shapes, registered from Malta, Italy, France, Greece, of course, Turkey and the USA.... but not the USA. interesting note: The majority of the boats I saw baring the American flag, had ...

We each ordered our main entree (Lamb for Jacques and I.... and calamari for Marina.) We were told to help ourselves to the buffet.. which ...

... of the town, on a small pier extension. Jacques needed to get water for the boat, and Marina had to restock the fruit selection. After waiting for another hour or so for the water man, bringing the hose, we left Neil on board Millie, and headed off to Pineapple for lunch. It is not a far walk (maybe 10 minutes), but in the blistering 100 degrees heat, and not a breathe of air -- it felt trying on all three of us. Not comfortable at all. OMG! Marmaris ...

I woke up very early this morning, and looked out into the darkness, at our small bay which was now infested with more than 30 boats, all with conflicting LED lighting. I put my head down on the pillow, and glanced upward, toward the heavens and the milky way. I so quickly was reminded of each of my grandsons, and our giggles/star gazing and counting falling stars on the Milena before going to sleep. How I wish each of you were here now so we could giggle and gaze together ...
