Our first full day we hired a bike for the next 2 days and headed to the east side of the island for some beach time. It seems that although the beaches are public, they are lined with beach clubs and they are the only access to the beach! ... br> On the 19th February we celebrated two things: we passed the exam II and it was Lionel's birthday. He invited us to the cantina El Gato Nero where we had beer, fish, tapas and for sure the birthday cake that finally ended up in Lionel's face based on the mexican tradition! :-)

... at around 32m. I topped it off with jumping from the ledge after the dive into the cave. Its about 6m and suposedly how they used to have to get in it. Crazy!

... no pressure to order anything. I found two sun loungers under a large umbrella and spent the day reading my book. This is not somewhere you come for a beautiful white powder beach.
