We enjoyed lazing about at Ko Lanta so much we're doing it again. We're at Coconut Village Resort at Patong Beach Resort. There isn't really anywhere on Phuket to park the van and it's nice to have a couple of days out of the van. It's very nice overlooking the pool from our balcony with the aircon blasting behind us.

... back to the hotel, had a rest and then decided to go for a swim in the hotel's roof top swimming pool. Back to the room & showered. Then we decided to use one of the three free dinner voucher to be used in the Millenium hotel's in house ala carte restaurant. Nice meal. Back to the room, had to get to bed early as we were being picked up early tomorrow morning to go scuba diving.

... It's kind of nice to not be the only person getting bit, but I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

The people are so friendly, honest and helpful.

We had a relaxing time lolling around. We are rested and recharged and ready for our next leg of the trip....Auckland, New Zealand. We have only a short time here before we need to head back to the US for the Boston fair. It is a blessing to have the time and flexibility with our schedule.

    Happy trails!

... Cody and I can't put our fingers on it, but even the animals looked depressed. Especially the white tigers. What is this place? I think I might be a little frightened. Then I see 5 elephants lumbering in the distance. "Elephants", I shriek to Cody. He replies, "Oh my gosh, race you to 'em", and he starts to shuffle run. I can't believe he's making fun of me. Then I realize he is serious. Out of my way brother, I saw them first! We walk through the crowd of people so we can see them. ...

Well we aren't quite sure where the last week went. It all started smoothly with us finding Di and Norm at Phuket airport. Once we had arrived at the hotel, a quick check in and then off to the pub to catch the 2nd half of the rugby (we are hoping we will be as lucky today). We had a relaxing Sunday, went for a wee tour around Phuket Island and then went to a Market in Phuket town. Monday saw us heading out to Phi Phi islands. It was really rough so we had a ...
