... resort to the airport! Also they don't have an ATM on premises so you have to pay $7taxi to town (2min away) to get to the ATM and then $7 to get back. Let's just say we were not happy about this. It was time to pack and get to bed. Thailand wasn't what I expected. It didn't feel special or like a secret gem. It's overrun with tourist and tourist traps and the people are not genuine in comparison to Vietnam and Cambodia. Sent from my ...

late afternoon or evening and humid during the day. Fortunately the day
we had full on rain, we had decided to go into Tonsai village for ...

... out with them for the rest of the time in Phuket. This consisted of nothing more then lying around at the beach and then heading out to Bangla road again in the evening.
I would have liked to have stayed in Phuket a bit longer, to see what else it has to offer. As Patong beach and Bangla road are pretty much the only parts we've been. But I still ended up having a great time. Tommorrow morning we set of for Krabi, where our Island tour ...

... to the room. It's 5.45pm and Brad and I are still out. We're sitting an an outside bar watching Melbourne Storm play in the rugby - well Brad is - I'm updating the blog! The area we're in is full of little bars under thatched roofs and they are all Aussie themed. The one we're at is called Blondie's Aussie Bar. It seems to be owned by an Aussie guy and so was the bar we were at yesterday. There are lots of old, washed up Aussie guys here and ...
