On our last night in Spain we took Aunty and Uncle out to dinner to say thank you for having us stay at their holiday home. We went to the same place we had tapas the first time and it was just as delicious!
After dinner we went to one of the bars along Puerto Banus and I was held hostage as the boys watched the Manchester United game. As if that wasn't boring enough, they still allow smoking in bars here in Spain so ...

... and benches were made by the marble cutter, Galiano. The marble had been left over from the land slide, which was brought on by the flood of November 1884. I guess we've been right when we see all kinds of channels and flood ways cut and built into the mountains and surrounding towns. There must be some really big rains and floods later on in the year.
We have no desire to go into the Bullring #8, built in 1900 ...

... train is pretty convenient - it's 1.80 euro from Malaga downtown to the airport and takes about 15 minutes. Very convenient. It's actually a Renfe train, not a local metro too.

The Malaga airport is VERY nice. It's weird though because they have all the signs in Spanish and English and German of all things. Most places in Spain have signs in English/Spanish/French. Not sure if Malaga has some kind of German background or something. I checked ...

Lunch in Ronda

... and pomegranate. This brings me to our lunch. We were invited to sit where we pleased and chose a table near one of the big windows. To welcome us, we were given a glass of sherry, white and dry. It was refreshing and a surprise to our palate. Olives are always part of the table and these ones were unusually sweet but paired perfectly with the sherry. Olives can be addictive and I compare it to eating popcorn, just one more. We held back! ...
