... to be flowing from left to right. When you stand in the center, the river appears to flow from top to bottom and when you stand on the left side the river appears to flow from right to left. Such clever people, I can not imagine how they did that. There was a similar tapestry in the Vatican Museum.

... We found a nice place for lunch down by the water and enjoyed a nice long lunch of pasta and wine. Tonight we are eating out and can pick from a few local restaurants that our tour director has recommended. First stop today was to travel by boat up the coast to the town of Portofino. This town is where the celebrities go to be noticed.
