... temperatures are too high. You can buy anything from vegetables and fruit to spices and teas. Our cooking teacher showed us all the different spices and vegetables that are used for traditional Indonesian and especially Balinese cuisine. We got to see, feel and smell all the ingredients we would later be cooking with. So we just stuck to trusty bintang (as we had been the whole duration of our bali trip) $3 for a large bottle to share between two of us, can't complain at all.
