On the way we practised a little Balinese with the driver and arrived at The Island hostel shortly after. This is a lovely place with plenty of areas to chill out and a nice pool. It was quite late at this point and we were a bit tired so had a shower and went to bed.
Unfortunately there was a large group of Americans who stayed up partying in the pool area until gone 4am so we didn't actually get much sleep. Theere's no sound proofing between the ...

Komodo and Rinca provided ...

Up early and decide we either hang at our wicked hotel or check out ubud since we only have limited time and can't do both. Decide on adventure so head to brekky and check out. We drink juice and eat toast and have the chef make us an omelette. Nothing to write home about. Get on the shuttle to Ubud where we are instantly greeted by 'darling you want taxi' really? We just got out of a fkn taxi mate what do you think? Slowly realise this is just the start as ...

... cliff to a stretch of beach and reef, home to one of Bali's multitude of waves, also named Bingin - known for being Bali's most makable barrel.

Our time in the sand was enjoyable and not as humid as the previous days. I took some time to swim and evaluate my shoulder condition which was feeling good in most positions and I could stroke freestyle pretty comfortably.

That afternoon we arranged a taxi with Bobby to take us to the airport in Denpasar to pick ...
