... terms "hangover" and "hair of the dog" and they seemed to get it. If we could do it over again we would actually skip the mainstream stuff like the ruins and get a more local intimate look at the villages and produce. We did have an accidental encounter with some blokes harvesting olives which was interesting. The swim was great. Warm water and clear as crystal. And no one else on the beach. Had a beach side beer and fish (tuna which looked like minute steak but was ...

Back to the hotel to sit and read in the shade. Wifi eventually back online at 1.30pm. Must be nearly lunchtime.

A leisurely get up but in time for breakfast. Then we took the 11am ferry to Tunruc, an idilic bay our rep had said. Not so much so when you come from the West Country. The boat ride was nice though. We wandered quickly through the village, lots of the same shops but no salesmen calling out to us constantly. We stopped for a beer at a waterfront cafe then caught the first taxi back to the hotel. Another nice boat ride. Back in time for lunch. I tried out the lady in ...

No alarm, and the plan to miss breakfast. We still woke around 9 though but had a leisurely get up, missing breakfast. We had a restful lying in the sun day on the hotel beach. Lunch was chicken donner and chips at the snack bar. At the end of the day I was getting dressed to leave the beach, Barry was just reading a page and a half before we could go. As I pulled my shorts up I saw the bee on my thigh just to late, oh so ...
