Our "run in the sun" was only about 3 hours, cruising thru glass-like waters with maybe a dozen other boats of varying sizes and shapes, registered from Malta, Italy, France, Greece, of course, Turkey and the USA.... but not the USA. interesting note: The majority of the boats I saw baring the American flag, had ...

... of the town, on a small pier extension. Jacques needed to get water for the boat, and Marina had to restock the fruit selection. After waiting for another hour or so for the water man, bringing the hose, we left Neil on board Millie, and headed off to Pineapple for lunch. It is not a far walk (maybe 10 minutes), but in the blistering 100 degrees heat, and not a breathe of air -- it felt trying on all three of us. Not comfortable at all. OMG! Marmaris ...

... Milena's ladder rather quickly, and felt my sizzling skin.... WOOOOOOSSSSSSHHHHHH, WOOOSH, WHOOOOSH each extremity as it hit the dark, blue clear water. Dipping my entire body came next, and as I felt the current begin to pull me away, I quickly made it back to the ladder, and got out of the water. I felt a thousand 1,000 percent better after what was my first of many "dip, dunk and swims" in the Aegean. A spinach torte accompanied by a wonderful Marina greek salad, was ...
