... The coach was air con with two toilets and the comfiest seats I think I have ever sat in on a coach. They reclined almost flat! Bucaramanga is a very clean and modern city with little of its colonial heritage intact, hence it doesn't really have anything major to see or do, aside from some adventure sports. So we spent a couple of days walking the city to see the sights that it had to offer and relaxing.

Up at around 9am. Slept poorly in a hammock all night. After waking, we walked 20 minutes to a nice little private beach. Played some games in sun until it was just too much sun. Started feeling VERY nauseous. We returned to Taganga around 3pm and took taxis to the Santa Marta airport. I went around and priced out bus lines for a trip to San Gil.
