    Earlier than normal for breakfast before starting the drive back via the southern coast. A new toll road, 3 lanes each way, made the middle part of the journey very quick. Interesting to see the huge cuttings through the hill sides and then 7 tunnels which saved heaps of time with a making it shorter and the speed limit 120km made it faster too.     We went along the coast on the old road to Gazipasa and then along the new road before taking the inland rural roads to get a great view to the Alanya coast.     Left Cyprus yesterday on the overnight ferry to Turkey. Managed to cross into the occupied bit of Cyprus without clearing Greek immigration & customs....I blame the satnav!! best i don't go back for a while.....

    The ferry was nasty, it's a freight ferry mainly so no cabins, and it was full, loads of kids running around so no sleep, no shower...
    I'm in Alanya tonight, I managed 157 miles today, it took 6 ...
