    After spending another few days in Kas (I needed the replace the shower hose again - the previous one lasted 2 weeks! so I installed a reinforced one). Whilst there we had dinner on a boat with young Kiwi guy and German girlfriend whom we had met earlier.

    The last day was our best sailing day, with 25 knots behind us we ran down-wind at 5.5 - 6 knots just with the genoa - a very relaxing last day of the trip.

    July 17, 2015 Turunc to Dalyan

    Frustration and a definite tinge of sadness sum up the first part of the day. The frustration revolved around poor internet connections when we had some business matters which needed attention. The sadness was because we were sitting inside whilst the family enjoyed the pool during our last few precious hours at the Loryma.     ... with interludes – Euan had a shopping spree, Joan had a haircut and Dave found out about the requirements for a scooter license (None – if it’s electric), we paid one very reasonable food and bev bill to the Kebab man. He sorted out the bar and tea shop. They are all incredibly grateful for any tips. Quite refreshing after some experiences where the recipient makes it clear they expected a tip – in fact a bigger tip!

    ... choice for our last evening meal. We had enjoyed other dishes but the speciality dishes requiring "slow cooking" definitely needed to be sampled. We pre – ordered a lamb dish cooked in a clay pot and Serife’s personal favourite, a chicken bake. These were supplemented by meze, a chicken cooked in an iron pan and a mince pancake.
