Tonight we will celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary with dinner and drinks in the local pub. A shout out to all our friends and family, we love you. And a special thanks to our friend Sandy Wacha who introduced us 32 years ago. This was an off-road day except for the little we had to do around the town of Alford. It was a great day walking and visiting a fascinating transportation museum. A good part the day ...

... was very necessary; we were delighted to witness a multitude of noisy seals basking on the opposite beach. Coincidentally, while half a dozen ducks walked behind them, groups of the seals would rush into the water, splashing as they went. Feeding time?

More chatting before finally returning to the hotel to prepare for our onward journey tomorrow, weather permitting. Thanks W & S for a grand day ...

... but when you have lived out of tights for almost a year, and never had proper jarmy pants at home because it was simply not cold enough, it is so nice to own some!

And the fact that she didn't need to do that. It isn't even Christmas! It was purely out of her own generosity.

If I can have a tiny bit of Katie to carry with me inside, and be as good a person as she is, my life will be one giant 'Katie Moment'.
