    ... with his back to the traffic,.. and he was stark naked!! Cars were slowing, swerving, stopping as he ran in front of them. He was totally oblivious to the traffic (or so it seemed). We drove by, and continued on,.. as did everyone else. We can only hope the police came by and took him into custody,.. for his own good,.. and took him straight to hospital for a mental health assessment!! At 3.00pm, We found a great place to stay,.. right on the beach in that town 100 Klms south ...

    When we chose to stay in this area of Catalonia, at the top of my 'must see' list was the museum in Figueres devoted to the Surrealist artist, Salvador Dali. From my History of Art days at school in the 70s, I can remember being fascinated by the weird and wonderful paintings he created.     ... it was really cool. Unfortunately there were some weird nude old people that we ignored roaming the sand dunes (We kept our distance fortunately). We then searched aimlessly for some dinner but all the places were shady or too expensive. So we returned home to the hotel for some surprisingly great food at the hotels restaurant. - Grace

    ... a quick bakery lunch before hitting the road to Lescala. On the way we stopped at he beach and the water was freezing cold when we put our feet in. Declan and i ate a whole bag of custard croussants. Soon later we reached our hotel in Les Roque by the coast. We went to the beachfront for dinner and ice cream before going to bed. We love getting messages from you all! :)
