... in Times Square - $4.00, wouldn't be a NY experience without it. Next we went on a tour of the Lower East Side, part food tour, part historical. A lot of the Jewish immigrants have moved out of the area, now becoming trendy. Tried a Knish, polish role fab donut, pickle brothers pickled pineapple sunshine bakery, noodle shop for dumplings 9/11 memorial and museum Chipotle for dinner 12.5 ...

From there we went onto Timberland Lake
campground halfway between Liberty Park and Philadelphia. While I was
in queue to pay for our one night camping, the couple in front were
asking to move as they saw a big snake on their campsite. The person
behind the counter said they were near the water and that was to be
expected. Thankfully our site was close to the office and pool and
        away from the lake area!

... tracks and headed for the Harlem Lake. We came across a large public swimming pool which was full of people escaping the heat. A little way along we came across the Conservatory Garden, a beautiful sculptured and manicured garden of trimmed hedges and lawns. We got a drink and found a spot in the shade and sat for a while. We then decided to head across to Roosevelt Island again given that the weather was so good, so we caught the subway and headed back down ...

May 7 - Today we boarded our ship Oceania Marina. Very impressive upon boarding which was a very easy process. We checked out all the different places to eat and entertainment while waiting for our room to be ready. Had lunch in the Waves Grill buffet style. We departed New York at 8.00 pm and what a fabulous sight looking out over ...

... bridge for "good luck". From there we went to Grimaldi's Pizza and then Juniors for the best cheese cake I've ever had! Then a cab to the airport. During the cab ride I was snapping pictures of all the street tagging/graffiti. That's one of my favorite things, and Brooklyn is full of street art. It was an amazing experience and I can't wait to go back to do the things I didn't have enough time to do. More museums and Staten Island!
