We managed to have a little of almost every dish and dessert before heading home with an empty crockpot and plate with a bunch of cookies left for me to eat. ... until 1230 which seemed like a rather late start but I made good progress during the day. This was mainly due to the fact that once again, most of the walking was along a long, straight beach.
It was partly cloudy leaving Peterhead but the sky slowly cleared and after an hour or so was blue sky all the way.
There was little to interrupt my steady rhythm once I got going and I encountered few other walkers on ...
