... like this happened wasn't even able to land because the smoke was so bad.
After the museum I headed back to the hotel to do some homework for part of the day. That's the downside of coming to Europe and taking classes at the same time. But not much really happened for the rest of the day besides walking around Aberdeen to explore the city. We flew out early monday and then went to classes as soon as we were back. It was a great weekend though and I really enjoyed Scotland.
When you go ice-skating, it is good to remember that you are not the girl from the movie you watched last night.

I decided that, given yesterday was a bit of a flop as far as pursuing my ice-skating career, that I better get going today.
Because all 24 hours could cost me a gold medal at the 2016 Olympics.

It's so true though, once you witness first hand a 5 year old with more skating ability than you have walking ability you realise that you suck and you are a lazy piece of.

But yeah, my night was full of dancing and laughing and (writing this from a couple weeks later) it bloody hurt at work the net morning!

Our boat didn't leave overnight due to bad weather so we had a day to kill. This was by no means a wasted day. We were driven into the mountains of north east Scotland and stopped off at some cool villages, saw the royal summer residence and went to a Scottish ski run to make snow men, have snowball fights and go ...
