It is the first day of JFC Ski 2015, the bus is all loaded, we've gone through the toilet rules (no solids!) and off we go. Miss Mullen is already panicking about the almost certain sickness on the ferry, eww! Mrs Taylor is missing her wine, Mr Maggs is regretting coming at all and Mr Swain is snoring like a walrus.

Tonight we will be making our ferry journey and seeing the beautiful scenery as we pass through France. We are due to arrive at our resort during mid ...

We have had a relaxing time in Newark with the continuation of walking and eating. Luckily Jenni and John have Foxtel so we have been enjoying the tennis, at a more convenient time too, no late nights, just early mornings! ... we'd got that one wrong but we had. We trudged onto the shuttle bus and headed for the right one. We'd used online check-in so all we had to do was drop our bags and pick up our boarding pass. We stood there waiting for something else to go wrong while the lady processed our flight. She handed us back our passports and told us we'd been upgraded, she must have seen the worried look on our faces. "Upgraded, you're still sat next to each other ...

Happy birthday to me!

A travel blog entry by pennydeakin on Sep 26, 2014

... celebrations started early with Aaron surprising me last night. He sent an email to me at lunchtime telling me to meet him at Holborn station straight after work. As I went to my locker to get my things I noticed a card stuck to the front very clearly telling me not to open it until the 26th Sept. I do love surprises! I left work and met Aaron at Holborn as instructed. We made our way to a lovely French restaurant in Covent Garden where I was told I had ...
