... can't pay for a year in advance says the 16 year old behind the counter). Now we are sorted out for the UK (which we are leaving in a week) but not in Europe, so the hassle will start all over again. Hopefully we will be a bit wiser. Then there was the money, forgotten passwords, wrong pin and a British bank system that has tightened up so much to prevent money laundering, human trafficking and citizens who don't have regular jobs, not to mention tourists ...

... celebrations started early with Aaron surprising me last night. He sent an email to me at lunchtime telling me to meet him at Holborn station straight after work. ... Wednesday until about 11.30. Harold might go at quite a rate of knots once he's got going, but as he doesn't retire until 1 or 2 in the morning, he doesn't get off to an early start. Suits Albert ok and it means I get chance to catch up on emails and other bits.
