... a show called "Shameless," which was weird but tuned out to be really funny. The State of New York issued a traffic ban: that all non-emergency vehicles were breaking the law if staying out past 11:00pm.  Apparently, the snow was still accumulating in Boston- the area with the most snowfall. We had lunch on the banks of the Hudson at Poughkeepsie. It was now quite warm in the sun 72 degrees but in the shade and with a breeze it was a little cool. Very pleasant spot to have lunch.

Programmed Tom to take us to New York city avoiding tolls. We missed an instruction and ended up crossing the Hudson on the Franklin D Roosevelt Bridge. Tom's recalculations were to drive 231 miles instead of 60 ...
