... and bastions are marvelous.
Easy to get up and walk around, unlike the Silifke castle, this is very traveler-friendly.
I came down and checked into a hotel called Kaplica Hotel and Restaurant. Next time we are back, call for Yakup. Super kind and nice, giving me the nicest room and a wonderful meal. This place is only 50 feet from the splashing waves of Mediterranean.
Love you guys,
... Mehmet, the guards, was very knowledgeable and gave a small tour and we chatted a bit. Very nice gentleman. The road up and down is very treacherous and a moment of distraction could easily mean trouble from steep mountain sides. Okay, so be careful!!

Signs indicate the limit is enforced 24 hours per day, meaning the parking really doesn’t work for overnight hotel guests. The clerk said it’s only an 8-euro ($10.80) fine if you don’t feed the meter, so I opted not to put any money in last night after parking.
