Easy to get up and walk around, unlike the Silifke castle, this is very traveler-friendly.

I came down and checked into a hotel called Kaplica Hotel and Restaurant. Next time we are back, call for Yakup. Super kind and nice, giving me the nicest room and a wonderful meal. This place is only 50 feet from the splashing waves of Mediterranean.

      Love you guys,

... Mehmet, the guards, was very knowledgeable and gave a small tour and we chatted a bit. Very nice gentleman. The road up and down is very treacherous and a moment of distraction could easily mean trouble from steep mountain sides. Okay, so be careful!!

Oh, one more thing: I saw an almond tree fresh with flowers fully bloomed. The island is in the midst of flowers blooming. Exquisite site.

      Cheers!

Yes, I did forget to mention I got the opportunity to attend the amazing soccer game that was originally supposed to be in the Ukraine but was moved to Cyprus due to political conflicts. So this Saturday I will have officially been abroad for 2 months. I cannot believe it. My first two weeks here felt long and I did not ...

... I pray I pray I pray that it becomes easier. So far orientation has gone well. We still have three more days of it to go. Then this coming weekend and school on the third. Well I am going to keep this one short since there really is not anything interesting for today. Enjoy the pics. And to all my friends and family who are reading I miss you all so much. ...

... recommendation of the front-desk clerk. Crazy thing is the lot has a 10-hour maximum parking limit and you must pay 5 euros ($6.75) at a pay-and-display meter. Signs indicate the limit is enforced 24 hours per day, meaning the parking really doesn’t work for overnight hotel guests. The clerk said it’s only an 8-euro ($10.80) fine if you don’t feed the meter, so I opted not to put any money in last night after parking.
