    ... Chi Minh City in the South and Hanoi in the North. Even through it is one country now, you still get the impression it is two different worlds. The Communist influence seems far greater in the North. Ho Chi Minh City seems much more progressive. Our visit to Danang was good. We had the choice of going to the ancient capital of the country, Hue, to the north, or Hoi An, to the south. With just one day there just wasn't time to do both.
