Rode NW from Portland this morning for 60 miles to catch up with an old friend of Willy's. Had lunch at Camp 18 - a restaurant out in the middle of nowhere. Continuing south via Route 101 we made our way leaving Washington and entering Oregon over the Astoria–Megler Bridge. The bridge is a steel cantilever through truss bridge that spans the Columbia River. It is the longest continuous truss bridge in North America.
