... lo and behold, we were in the tiny village of Skalni Mlyn, full of hundreds of day trippers out to visit the nearby famous Punkva caves, and eat ice cream!! These caves are part of the Moravian Karst (limestone) system in the Central Czech Republic, a large heritage protected area. ... such a beautiful place, Manova Lhota, surrounded by forests and on top of a hill, it seems like paradise. But keeping it all up would be hard work, especially with all the vegetables and maintaining the fields - and in winter with short days, lots of snow and freezing conditions. This was a visiting day: we saw some of Monika's relatives. Later in the afternoon we drove about 125 miles to her home town of Chocen to stay with her parents until Sunday. The weather keeps getting hotter and the forecast is hotter still!

Hello from the Czech Republic. Yesterday went to plan, albeit taking longer to drive to our campsite than planned.
