Goa, Mumbai und Buddha in der Höhle
... Jahrhundert vor Christus stammen. Somit sind sie ähnlich alt wie die buddhistischen Statuen und Malereien in den Höhlen von Ajanta, welche wir am 7. Januar von der Stadt Jalgaon im Bundesstaat Maharashtra aus besuchten.
Zwischen diesen beiden Höhlenbesuchen lag darüber hinaus noch der Beginn unserer großen Rundreise durch den indischen Norden. Stilgerecht wurde diese vom Victoria Terminal in Mumbai aus gestartet - mit circa 2,5 Millionen Fahrgästen ...
Leaving Bhopal
... celebrating.. I think Kaloom wants to make a feast. We need to finish painting the mural!!! Oh decisions.
Today will be a LONG day of painting, laughing, and hanging out. Tomorrow will be sad. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I don't want to think about it at ALL. I don't want to go anywhere....Stay in Bhopal...Forever?
Off to Agra..Delhi and then a journey of a lifetime.

Art starts...
... and Photography with Rox. The participants are so polite and clean up after themselves! Lately, Jamez has been working on the mural upstairs so we changed it up a bit. We kinda just go with the flow. We set up painting for the first time on Monday and Tuesday. It went well! The participants (of all ages) created artwork on a big piece of canvas (front and back).

Sambhavna is a sanctuary in the midst of chaos
... The supporter, government, not giving good facilities, not affected. Affected, the common people, suffered. Jamez, you got a big 2 weeks ahead of you!!
My program will entail interviewing, translating and writing. I will be interviewing many people that were affected by the disaster (directly and indirectly). I will take it back to Canada, write, produce and publish this as a play with all proceeds going back to Sambhavna.

Finally, we arrived at the Delhi airport. My thoughts before was that it was going to be CRAZY busy. The new airport is beautiful, and it was not busy at all, mind you it was 1am-5pm. We had to change over our suitcases, well re check them and discovered our first laugh of the journey. ...
