to our comfort, it was one of the stunts of our friendly coracle
operator.

Another surprise took us off guard, as a coracle approached us, and
the guy asked us whether we would want any snacks or drinks. Yes.. a
mobile coracle shop.. what a surprise.. capitalism taken to a whole new
level..

It was a four hours of drive from Bangalore to hogennekkal.

When we reached there we realized it was a "ticket land" - forest entry fee , parking fee , some ticket near the waterfall , again parking fee !!
