... where we stopped for a walk along the promenade with hundreds of old holiday makers. All looking grey and shapeless in their hip length square jackets. We had ice creams and walked through the trees and down to the beach. Lovely and sunny and couples in quaint double love seats facing the sun. We then continued through forests and farms to our overnight stop at Miedzyzdroje nearly scuttling young wild pigs as they tried to run across the road. The ...

The Top of Germany

We continued our travels north towards the top off Germany. We stopped at a tiny town of Warnitz. It was in the middle of a large forest on a lake. The winding lane to get there had a give way to frogs sign. We didn't see any frogs or toads to give way to. I put up camp again and just as I'm ready to get into the water a quad stops at the beach. It's the guy that send me away when I was trying to freeload a shower. I've done some cleaning up but there's still enough evidence of a party. There are bottles and other things. He's not happy ...

... for Anklam first. I'm on the other side of the forest on the B109 when all of a sudden the footpath ends again. There's no good spot to hitchhike either. A little depressed by today's setbacks, I start walking into the forest again. I put up my tent and start reading. As people walk by, I discover that I'm actually very close to a footpath. I don't really care. But an hour later, while I'm cooking, a forest ranger stops at my tent ...
