... handsome. In Guangzhou I see some men and I think hey he looks kind of like Bruce Lee, in China that never happens. There is no resemblance. Cantonese is a very different language. Even counting to 10 is different enough I didn't have time to learn it properly. I feel I will end up back in this city again. Well it has one of the largest and busiest airports in China/Asia so that's not such a big thing to say.

The sun was very overbearing this day. 2 of the 3 of us got some bad sunburns. I never even thought of it so I opened my shirt up because I was hot, and at the end of the day my entire chest was red, but not very painful. We unfortunately did not have time or energy for one of the bigger sites, even though we walked 3+ km to close to the entrance gate.
... which was cool but also kind of
scary. So the time is now 6:50 I have about half an hour before my plane starts
boarding and I have absolutely no idea where the terminal is, I’m getting
directions from everyone but the airport seems to go on and on and on… I’m
getting more frantic by the minute when finally I get to where I’m meant to be.
Let me tell you my relief was immense ...
It's been a couple of days since the last check, although it seems like yesterday. Things have been a whirlwind!
Guangzhou is a beautiful city. There is a nice blend of what I call the true "Chinese Culture" and modernization here. They have a beautiful skyline and a beautiful river. There is lots to do, which is good, because Emmett is a very energetic young guy!

As planned, we visited the City Zoo today. The weather was extremely hot, even at 9:30 am. Us and two other families, along with our CCAI guide Paul, made the trek to the zoo. We were dripping with sweat but thoroughly enjoying the visit, which started at the monkey exhibits. Zayne was taking it all in with lots of ooohs and aaaahs at the various animals.
