... die waar wij inzaten.

- Lunch in the Waffle House zeer goed kan smaken, zeker op kosten van onze lieftallige chauffeur!

- we bij de regen in South Carolina de hitte van Florida al veel te snel vergeten waren.

- koude ravioli uit blik echt wel smaakt!


De volgende ochtend was de missie duidelijk: Zo snel mogelijk een lift uit de regen en naar het (terug warmere?) noorden!

On Sunday, we packed up and headed North on highway 95 towards South Carolina! We got to Santee State Park around 1PM and set up camp.
Once finished of course we were hungry so we went to the Lone Star BBQ and Mercantile. Really cool place with great BBQ and antiques.

... we are fans) The server asks us to come around to her side of the buffet and fill up our large to-go plates once again. This time with more rutabagas, tomato pie, lima beans, mashed sweet potatoes, and of course RIBS. We over did it! All delicious but really....for the salad eaters we usually are...two pork extravaganzas in one day was a bit over the top. Not to worry.
