The weather was the story today as we traveled from Chicago to Madison, WI. Things were great until we reached Madison and then all the elements combined to make an interesting evening. Wow, can't believe it's been a year since I left my house and moved onto the road. With hindsight I wish I took more pictures. I was in great places where I didn't document with my camera. USA Day 11 Thursday, September 10, 2009<br><br>Portage Indiana to Janesville Wisconsin<br><br>Today we head off towards Chicago this turns into a long trip thru the backblocks where we see another side of Chicago. What we see is very similar if not worse then Detroit. I reconnected with my friends at line dance and actually remembered some of the dances. <br><br>Stayed in Madison for 2 weeks while I caught up on doctor appointments. I was reminded why I left as the weather was damp and cold and my body responded with pain. Oh well.<br>

... villa. We've got a jam-packed schedule in Venice and even the CinqueTerre will be "busy" (ok, so the most strenuous part will be the walk). It will be nice to have time to explore the neighboring hill-towns at the villa like Cortona, Pienza, Orvieto.
