... re bound to get more social services! If a dayhome worker gets sick, the government arranges a different dayhome for the children to attend and phones the parents to notify them of the change. Dayhomes even get a set-up fund when they begin, to buy toys and books and safety equipment.
It was great fun to just be immersed in family life, to play with the boys and chat with Nanna and Lasse.

... park for ice cream, but not just any icream Danish ice cream! We had small ones, 2 scoops in a waffle cone with guff (whipped egg whites and sugar) in the cone and in top cicerone the ice cream with flodeboll and strawberry sauce. It was massive!!! We wandered along the stream for a bit seeing some of the animals in the zoo (as some of the enclosures backed onto the path) and then in the forrest.
