Johnstown was cute. It had all these shops and random museums, like the museum of hardware and the museum of maple syrup. Supposedly there's quite a Mennonite community there. Also a broom store, antiques, pottery and other randoms. There were these little chocolate balls at the bakery called rum balls, I had to try one. Anyway, again...I'll put pics up when I get home, they are the best.

Just here to reunite with the BF before heading down to Toronto and Niagara for the weekend! Absolutely nothing happening here.. It was a ten hour drive from Boston to Erinsville, Canada and what a boring journey.  We hacked as fast as we possibly could and tried to keep the kids amused (no video set up in the car so you can imagine how taxing it was - for all)  We even stopped off at a grocery store and played baseball in the car park. we spent three days at Consecon, just south of Trenton, we rode our bike thru the back country lanes, watched beautiful sunsets and Brent went to the airshow in Trenton, Jo stayed home and did her nails!!! Or something.<br>This is a lovely part of the country.

... lots of trees, rolling hills, fields of wheat and huge barns where they house the cattle during the winter with big grain silos alongside. Some of the older houses are lovely, two story Georgian brick with casement windows and strong proportions, some have almost churchlike windows in them as well. ... walked about the city, a fish in a pea pod. I contemplated under the guidance of my mother and Erin to take a bus or train to Montreal given the highway between the two. ... and re-focus my life somewhat. The past month has been, perhaps, the most trying time I've been through; I'm looking forward to time alone on the road to just let my thoughts roam where they will. Hopefully things will become clear on their own without the pressure to trying to make it happen. I'll try to keep this blog up to date every day or two - I'm generally lousy at correspondane but I will make an effort all the same. Hopefully I'll be seeing some of you soon! Allan

... i might forget it. i was home an hour later than expected so my friend left it hanging on the inside of my front door out of sight. I came home from my going away party not 45 minutes later to find it gone. $400 and had it less than 12 hours, two new digital cameras in about 3 weeks gone. I can't believe this!!! Now I have a choice, pay my bills or get a camera. I can't afford this kind of thing at all. I am so screwed. HELP!!!:'(
