This hotel is a rip off!!!

    from

I made reservations for a penthouse and was quoted a price for 3 nights HOWEVER this was the price for one night! The price was over $600.00 and the room was not even worth $200.00! This hotel is the biggest ripoff in Gatlinburg. Do not stay there!!!!

Nice Hotel, Staff a little rude

    from

This is a nicely maintained hotel, and while not upscale, is certainly clean and confortable. We had a problem with our room and it was handled effecitvely by the maintenance crews. The only complaint I would have is that they need additional customer service training for their morning front desk staff. One lady in particular was downright rude, and this was upon check-in. We considered cancling our reservation and going elsewhere. Nice hotel with some personnel issues.

    Nice Hotel

I love the Smoky's!!! Prices can be high! hotel is clean , safe and nicely decorated. My husband and I visit the Smoky's 3-4 times a year for quick get-away. Since this hotel is farther down the main strip it is quiet. And I like the closer entry to the park. I am pleased with hotel and would stay here again . I have stayed here 3 times in last 2 Look for on line dicounts for this hotel.Mountain Fairy

    Lovely hotel

    from

In my opinion, this is the nicest hotel in Gatlinburg. The rooms were clean, comfortable and with balconies. The staff, including security, were exceptionally nice. Located near stop light 10, it is approximately 1 block to Ober Gatlinburg where you can ski during the winter or play games, ride go-karts, and putt putt year round and 1 block to the entrance of the Smoky Mountains. Restaurants are all around and you can easily walk to where all the action is.

    I was very pleased

    from

Their "Platinum" rating is well deserved. I am an extremely picky person and was quite pleased with this hotel. First of all it was very clean, including everything from the sidewalks, parking lot, lobby, hallways, elevators, and of course the room. While in the room, I wore white "footies" and they did not become black from walking on the carpeting. Next, the room was attractively decorated and well furnished. It included a fridge/microwave, iron/board, sofa/extra chair and a balcony. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Lastly the hotel was conveniently located near great restaurants, shopping, a market and the mountains.

    Regulars at Clarion

    from

My husband and I visit the Smokies every year, we aways stay at the Clarion, it is a bit pricey, but the nicest hotel in downtown Gatlinburg. Worth the Stay!!!

    Great location!

    from

Very nice hotel. Friendly staff, and great location. You are right in the heart of downtown Gatlinburg. The pool was not very clean though. Everything else was very nice!

    Good

    from

Rooms were clean and breakfast was good. I was unhappy with the pool needs to be clean more often by professionals, if you use your goggles to see the bottom of the pool you would understand. Don't want gross anyone. They need better lighting in that pool area. One light does not cut it.

    What a GREAT place!

    from

This was a great place to stay!! The staff at the front desk was so pleasant and helpful. They even called the room about 30 mins after we checked in! The room was nice and clean and the baclony was nice. Great location, we walked everywhere!! I will defintely stay here next year!!

    A favorite of ours

    from

Wonderful place to stay. Right in downtown Gatlinburg. Leave your car parked at the hotel and walk to everything. Nice clean rooms. Very updated compaired to most of the motels in downtown Gatlinburg. We stay there about 4 times per year. Price is reasonable for the top quality.

Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg the amusement and adventureland of Tennessee. Never seen so many different mini golf courses, go cart tracks, and other attractions lining a main city street. These places are alive with tourists and cause major traffic jams. Don't travel on fridays we learnt.

We are in the Appalachain mountain range, this area of the range is located within the smoky mountains national park. This trail is called the Alum cake nature trail and is the shortest of all trails in the area at 5 miles (8.9km) from the bottom to the top. Mounte le conte which is the summits name sits at 6593 feet at its peak. The trail starts at 3834 feet which meant we had a 2759 ...

My next to last park in my last state, the Great Smoky Mountains Nat. Park does not lack in beauty. Part of the Blue Ridge Mts., the park is another World Heritage Site. It is also the most visited Nat. Park with about twice as many visitors as the second place Grand Canyon. Although small by western standards ( high peak 6643 ft.), ...

We registered for a tour and had a few minutes to browse the displays before meeting with Ron, our tour guide. Ron was about 6'5", wore bib overalls and a baseball cap, had a white mustache to rival my husband's, and spoke in a beautiful, baritone southern drawl. I could have listened to him talk all day. So upon entering the room, the theme of 'underground playground' seems to fit. The room was a make shift kindergarten room, complete with building bricks, lunch boxes and jigsaws. I'm not going to go into too much details about the tasks as it would spoil it if y were ever to ...
