Well, today we leave the only home I have known. It is a wonderful city and I am proud to have been born in such a beautiful place and to have been welcomed to the world by the great friends here. ... the way. Saturday was a gorgeous day at the Lake; evidently those have been few and far between this summer. The 6 girls shopped at the Windmill and rode the jetskis, swam and went for a boat ride. The 3 sisters relaxed and partook of adult beverages!

... everyone goes home in good shape. The wineries close at 5 which is also a good thing so that people are not driving in the dark.

We took a different road home which kept us from the dirt roads and the cornfields and made a stop at Maxie's for dinner in downtown Ithaca. They serve some great cajun and fish there and we got back to the inn tired and full but the day was not over.

On the walk home we got caught in a downpour and ducked into the Moosewood restaurant and gift shop known for the Moosewood cookbooks.

A good night's sleep and we were ready for Day 2.

... After quite a bit of research I managed to settle on a site for carbon offsetting. Turns out there is a lot of discrepancy between the many carbon counters you can find on the various environmental websites offering carbon offset programs.
