    ... of the day we've just been hanging around and starting to get some stuff together for our departure tomorrow.

    The most productive I've been all day is I made a pair of earrings. I've been wanting to try to make some jewelry and so since we really aren't super busy, thought I'd give it a try. They don't look too bad, so I'll probably try some more.

    ... overnight. Recently, some Walmarts do not allow this anymore. There is a website that tells you which ones don’t allow it. I usually also call them just to make sure. It saves time. This night it was at Hannibal on the Mississippi River.

    ... operational, but no longer makes refrigerators. Not sure what they manufacture there now, but the whole area is very interesting. The villages are connected by a road that runs in a loop. Each village has a religious meeting place and it's own cemetery. Even in death, they are equal since all the head stones are the same and they are not buried in family groups, but buried in chronological order according to the date they are buried.     ... be why it was heat lightening instead of regular lightening (my theory).

    Anyway it was been nice to be invited into someone else's circle. Since we travel mostly by ourselves, we don't get to socialize with a lot of different people at campgrounds. And since we "glamp" instead of camp, we don't have a lot of campfires.

    ... sausages etc.

    After spending about 6 hours here (in a 2
    hour parking zone taking up nearly 2 spaces) -but the Sheriff did wave
    to us - e moved on to the Amana colonies where the only available
    camping place was a commercial one but rather cheaper than most as it
    was only $34 and surprise, we got a 50% discount with our Passport
    America card. It was really huge but nice.
