... as it appears they were having a homecoming celebration and fair going on. (When we were in the area earlier we saw a parade going on so decided to come back later.) The parade was over but the entire downtown area was blocked off and they had fair rides in the park. So we rode around the countryside for an hour or so looking at all the ranches – lots of cattle and some horses. Most of the cattle were Angus but we did see a few Herefords and a few long ...

Went back to hotel after concert bc I've had a sinus infection. It was a great, quick trip with my love. We sang songs to each other and we're just in the moment, in ...

... this trip, we were looking to do some sightseeing in Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio, but the trip was getting too long, so we settled for a scenic ride through East Texas, so we'll only be in Texas for a couple of nights as we make our way south and east to New Orleans. Hopefully there will be some picture worthy sights tomorrow!

... well known to all our Bay Area friends how extremely sad we were to leave. But as we head eastward we are focusing on looking ahead, both literally and figuratively toward our new home and life.

Aaron is with us this trip and is driving Jon's Mercedes CLK behind us as we lumber along in our land yacht. With three adults and the two dogs we are quite cozy together at night ...
