... the lake (can't go wrong there!) with Ray on the lookout for squirrels. These little fellows were a different colour from those we had seen years ago in other parts of the U.S. After the lake, we wandered back "Uptown" and enjoyed the Newtown feel to the shops. I noticed a little cafe that looked quite appealing because it had a sandwich board advertising fresh juice! I stopped Ray and we went in looking for something nutritious. It ...

We started with soup, James had a salmon and spinach soup and I had a French onion one, followed by trout for James and Prime rib with veggies for me, the for dessert James had boysenberry pie and I had Crmeme Brûlée. ... County, CO and our newly leased condo in Silverthorne. This will be our home base for the next 4 months as we follow the snow around CO, UT, and Lake Tahoe. Visitors are welcome and encouraged.

May 1: You know as much as we do. At this point, our winter lease will be up and the snow will be gone. This will be the scary but very exciting time when we decide where we want to be and what we want to do. Anyone taking bets?

Til next time....
