        ... you know, WV is known as the mountain state and residents of the state are known as Mountaineers. I can see why.....mountains run from one end of the state to the other and their shapes provide for rugged/beautiful landscapes. I just never realized what a beautiful state WV is.

        Tomorrow we will be leaving here as we head further west in WV. We are so looking forward to many more 'new' adventures as we continue our travels ...

        ... eat again. (Don't be surprised if your kids come home expecting 3 large meals a day.) We were thrilled to see that their VBS kids had made signs for us and they were strung around the sanctuary.

        Just as we were sitting down to eat, 3 amazing women burst through the door. Imagine our surprise to see Leslie Oakes, Miriam Ludlow and Brenda Farrar! It was very exciting to see them. Thank you so much! Just before the concert started we were surprised by yet ...

        Day 6 - fun and worship

        ... and threatened to call the police on them. The kids did a great job handling it. Thank goodness an employee stayed close by.

        Once we managed to pack up and leave without further incident we headed back to the dorm. We had mandatory fun time. What happens when you gather 20 youth and 10 adults in a room and throw in some games? Fun, team building, bonding, and laughter. I haven't seen so much fun in a long time.

        ... of organizing the books on the bookshelf.

        Another group worked in the food pantry. Apparently a few of our kids are slightly OCD. They set about organizing the shelves while they were stocking them.

        Another group of kids worked outside to pick up trash and clean things up. Thank goodness it was a beautiful day earlier.

        At 11:30 all of the kids came together and served the patrons a wonderful hot lunch of broccoli soup, carrots ...
