    ... Swedish girl were heading to Brisbane, the other Swedish girl was heading south, and the French girl was heading for airlie beach too!     ... the soft sand and the dangers of dingoes (the wild dogs living on the island). So what did I actually learn...well that if you went anywhere near the saltwater whilst driving you would flip the car and there was a good chance we would get eaten alive my dingos. What actually happened....we didn't even see a dingo the whole time we were there and we drove through the salt water regularly and guess what, no car flips.     ... up and said our goodbyes to the Packers and headed to Mackay. The best caravan park was full and the rest were a bit ordinary, so we drove 35 ks to Sarina. Here we found a lovely park - small but very neat and nice managers. They have free tea and coffee for morning and afternoon tea and cheaper than anywhere else we had stayed.
