    South East Asia...?

    ... in a radically different part of the world. This past semester I completed a World Religions class to prepare for the trip, and learned about many different religions including Buddhism, which is very prevalent in South East Asia, namely Theravada Buddhism.
    I hope to learn a lot.
    I'm hoping this will be somewhat of a spiritual journey for me, and I pray that the experiences I have over the next few months will help shape me into a better person.

    It was a pretty exhausting day today. We only rode 85 miles but the majority of it was on this horibbly gravelly road that just killed our speed. The ride was hard but when we got to Richland and we had an awesome friendship vist with the arc of the tri cities.     ... delivery boy, went to fetch us our swill (dinner in navy talk). Tom had chicken caesar salad and Lisa went for a chicken wrap which was very tasty indeed. After swill, we decided to walk off our meal and took a leisurely stroll with our doggies along the shore of the beautiful Columbia River.
