We took the RV in to get a new blind spot camera since ours clouded up and some gutter extensions to keep the roof/A/C runoff from running down on our camera. Will make moving to right much easier.

While it was getting done we took a drive north to see Lake Isabella (huge reservoir!). WOW! Spectacular scenery through mts. the whole way. We were not too surprised to see that ...

I got a room at the Extended Stay; a friend had already arranged a good rate for us adjusters. It was about 20 min from the meeting on Friday a.m.

Dale dropped me off at the airport with my 2 large bags, each about 50#, plus roll carry on, Ferrari ...

... here in my home country.
Recently my family suffered a huge loss and we lost one of our own to cancer. He will always be in our hearts in memory and love. But I can't help but wonder how is absence will affect my presence in a foreign land-but what still feels like home deep down inside a peacefulness, a longing, like that of going to your mother's side for love and warmth.

I am excited about our trip but an apprehension fills me.

As we head out of town we run into the "holiday decorating committee" adorning roadside sage brush and little mesquite trees for the Christmas season. We had kind of forgotten about the holiday coming up, but these folks are in the spirit!
