Back on the road today! We were set to do 60 miles which is now starting to feel like a normal day. My legs aren't half a sore as I thought and my bum has definitely broken into the saddle some more! The road was generally flat as it snaked beside Lake Erie, with some really nice views along the way. We stopped off around 20 miles in for some really good food at a place called Boomerang before setting off again to do the last 40 miles in one. ...
... we found the Westfield Outdoor Market. Same kind of theme, but more farmers and Amish items. I got some postcards that were made from photos taken by a local photographer.
Then we finally made it to the lake and saw the adorable paddle boat but we had missed the tour.
Oh well, we still had a good time!
... we found the old Welch's Building from the 1800's and a great park complete with gazebo and a grand old church across the street form a beautiful statue of a little girl giving President Lincoln some flowers. Right out of a Norman Rockwell painting.
