    ... We had our order in and drinks in hand within 5 minutes. The inside of Gus' was bare with funny signs, cracked bricks, and toilets with rather visible plumbing, this was a sign that it's food spoke for itself and nothing else was needed. 25 minutes later and we were elbows deeps in peanut oil fried chicken with secret spices - and it was more then worth the wait.     After the Civil Rights Museum I dropped my bags off at the hostel I was staying at. Fun fact, the only hostel operating in the greater Memphis area is run by a church to supplement their collections and dues from members; very progressive of them.
