Clarion Hotel Airport Conf. Center Jacksonville

Today was my work day at the Jacksonville Muncipal Center. Before we left for the event I took a walk around downtown Jacksonville. They have an amazing riverwalk loaded with restaurants, bars, and shops.

Today I started at 2:45am PST because my plane left Portland Airport at 6am. When I got into the airport to get my boarding pass, Continental had the only mega line anywhere. It took me 45 minutes to get my boarding pass and another 25 minutes to get through security. My gate was fortunately close to security (I could see people boarding while I was going through security) so I did not have to run ...

I am writing this on my birthday (Heinz! If you know what I mean!). I have been spoilt (after a fashion), we had a party (all sat round getting drunk) on Saturday (31st) night this was for Ronnie (cook), Justin (our cabin steward who's birthday is same day as mine) and me. ... up at NAS Jacksonville a long shot jumped out of the crowd to give us an assist to get us to Jacksonville International. We raced against the clock across town and even encountered a traffic accident and beat the others to the airport by 20 minutes and were able to catch our flight with out any snags.

... Rest assured you will be sated upon completion. But in order to experience the entire repitore of gastronic and liquid delights is to remember all things in moderation and plenty of water along the way. While it is a shame to see great beer dumped down the sink, it is more so to put yourself in pain and mar the experience.

Last nights seven courses of food and 15 courses of Unibroue beers achieved all of our expectations and so ...

... it is a career.  It is a career that requires constant exploration and discovery. Last night I learned more about theatre then I could ever articulate.  I expect that to happen repeatedly throughout my career.  I will always work to improve myself in this business.  I hope to walk off stage of my Fall show at DePaul in two months and say....

 "that was the most fun I've ever had on stage."   

 

 

We arrived in Fernandina Beach for a brief stopover. We arrived late and were lucky enough to get a site in the usually full Ft. Clinch State Park. We toured the town at night hence, no pictures, but toured the Fort the next day. Well worth a stop.
