    Flight wasn't too bad considering it was nearly 10 hours and food was actually OK Jackies vegetarian option looked absolutely disgusting,the telly was actually quite good and I watched a series called Klondike a three parter about the Gold Rush in the Yukon very good.Arrived in Seattle after the long flight and picked up the car a Hyundai to be delayed an hour because the man at the desk filled the form in wrong

    ... Margie and I went ashore to Pike Market.
    I'm afraid it was overpriced like the craft market in Melbourne, so we didn't bother buying anything.
    There was a fun African American male singing group which we stood and listened to, then Margie used Starbucks free Wifi, while I just mooched round a bit.

    The ship left at 3pm, and we needed to repack our clothing etc for the disembarkation tomorrow in Vancouver BC.

    ... the walkway, where the space exhibit continues – including a life size replica of a space shuttle! And it doesn’t stop there. Outside, they have actual historic planes you can walk into. Not all of them are open, but we get to walk inside one of the last Concordes (so that’s how the other half lived!), plus a former Air Force One, so we can see how the planes were set up for Presidential travel. ...

    ... last Empress of China. The ticket attendant in there was a real Anglophile & we had some great discussions about all places & things British. The observation deck wrapped around floor 35 just topped it all off & we enjoyed the great view of the Space Needle framed by all the tower blocks, Safeco Stadium and the harbour.
