The Esplanade Scarborough, Western Australia, Australia, 8-9245-1000
Good afternoon my fellow virtual travelers,
Today I discovered two things that I am no good at, well really confirmed them actually. More on that later.
Monday
- After my last blog we traveled down to Augusta to have lunch and see a pretty cool lighthouse. And I was right, I didn't climb it. All a bit too tall and small for my liking. Then we drove along the beach through some amazing bush back to our "resort".
- Fish and chips were the order of the night and we ended up w...
I haven't spoken to you in almost 2 weeks, I know. But that is because we stayed put. Let me start with some boring information on where we are: Perth: the home city of Tony. He is not born here, mind you, he is born in Ballarat: the east side of Australia. His ex with the kids and his parents live in Perth. Perth is the capital of the Australian state of Western Australia. A population of 1,507,900 makes Perth by far the largest city in Western Australia and home to three-quarters of the sta...

... As usual spencer was up at 6am and came down to join us. Thursday was the morning of wasted time, we were all up and ready for the beach by around half 9, but after ryan and ross decided they wanted to rent a car we spent a good couple of hours pounding the streets before eventually deciding to catch the train. Had the maddest run for the train to catch it in time (in barefeet) which resulted in my nearly falling down the stairs and whacking the football out of ross's ...
Scarborough, Western Australia, Australia nickoz... i have to say. A beer for my efforts and a couch in the sun at the hostel with a good book...yay! And then wandered back down to the beach for a more relaxing time, another sunset for one.
So Scarbourgh and surfing together didn't necesasrily work oot for me...i miss Noosa and surfing, it was much kinder to me. Scarbrough for its sunset and beach did work though...and relaxing always works for me.
... swimming is getting better and my sister Grace is mad she jumps in the pool on her own with her lifejacket on. We went to Perth city on the bus and the train and we went on a big wheel like the London Eye, we could see all over Perth and we have been to the beach losts of times, i love getting sandy.
Perth, Australia brodieclark... upstairs (accessed via a wrought iron spiral staircase). The bathhouse was outside and had a functional cast-iron rustic bath. There was also a shower above the bath and a rather odd looking shower curtain - it resembled a large plastic chopping board! The brochure, however, suggested that we use the outside shower, so one morning Judith did! She felt like "Little Weed" from Bill and Ben (the ...
Perth, Western Australia, Australia dancoughlin... really happy and contented, which was wonderful to see. They got together after being introduced by Greg and Maria (Don is Greg's partner in a lift installation business) and now live just around the corner to Dave and Barb and Frank, in what was formerly Sharon's home, and they plan to continue to live there after their wedding in April. they have recently bough a boat, in partnership with another couple and keep it moored in te Swan river and it is there, near the boat ...
Perth, Western Australia, Australia nickadams... amount of caravans stuck to a plot and adapted for all-year round use, what with their tin shack conservatory areas, awnings, patios, flowerbeds and driveways etc...! lancelin was windy, which was perfect in the morning for all those who wanted to go out surfing and the rest... you'll have to excuse my not being able to distinguish the watersports... and was also surrounded by an amazing desert of white sand dunes, which at first glance looked like snow! they were absolutely ...
Perth, Western Australia, Australia vickz_2... Museum. It was pretty good. There were actual boats and full-sized boat replicas hanging and on display all over. There were tons of hands-on activities, artifacts, and even a working lighthouse beacon. Afterwards, everybody met up for dinner at the market. Then, Mike, Shanaenae and I went on to Fremantle prison. The prison tour was fabulous. The tour guide had some volunteers act ...
Scarborough, Western Australia, Australia tomfroehleG'Day Mates! I should clarify, William Shakespeare had no influence on this entry and his play "A Midsummer Night's Dream" has no relation with this entry "A Midwinter Day's Reality" ! First off, William Shakespeare was a scholar, I'm just a bloke who loves drinking wine! Shakespeare's play is about a romantic comedy, Elsie and I are just funny looking! Shakespeare's ...
