... term); Lego, Lego and more Lego. Every piece of playground equipment was invented here so the kids absolutely loved the holiday. And we were stuck sipping chardy under the shade of the awning; feet up - relaxing. Definition of holiday: 1. travel somewhere different; 2. put feet up; 3. relax! Meanwhile, they were calling for last entry for my flight so I ran back to my pile of soaked stuff and gathered everything up in my arms and ran on the airplane, dropping items every few feet or so. Luckily, everything made it on board in time although dripping.

I took a cab from the C. airport to the hotel, a very IN little hotel near the central plaza ...
Copenhagen, Zealand, Denmark shirlbell... but we were in the mood for a nice easy going set and they seemed like the perfect choice. They must have fixed their problems because they were undeniably good, playing the perfect set to start the day. We couldn’t see much so just watched an alien have sex with a cow, this was the most ingenious flag at all three festivals.
Next we chose Faith No More, it was an excellent decision. They had a pretty early time slot on the Orange Stage and even ...
Copenhagen, Capital Region, Denmark jaspergreene... on to the 'genetically modified' mermaid; finally had to ask at the ice cream stand (Kaye and Patsy had one scoop each of blueberry - we did learn something from Tivoli) for directions. Now that mermaid was certainly more remarkable! We couldn't even identify all of her mutant companions! (Although the Madonna and the pregnant man were fairly easy to pick out.) Kaye definitely was not impressed! After we had visited all the statuary ...
Copenhagen, Zealand, Denmark aldrichc... toward Amsterdam and reach the port tomorrow morning. Kind of a foggy day with the boat rocking frequently. We have crossed 10 time zones, 3 different currency's, heard really countless languages, and visited 7 different countries in 14 days. A little part of me kind of wants to make my life and home at sea. The other part is ready to get back to reality. Stay tuned for the Mediterranean in September..... Cheers!
Copenhagen, Zealand, Denmark hendersonraToday (Monday) was the first truly relaxed day of the trip. We had all day until about 4 pm to explore Copenhagen at last, and our travelers happily did it in groups of 4 or 5. The day was sunny and warm; jackets and sweaters came off. Yet Jennifer and I kept running into Nighthawks around the city, along the river, along winding Sorget Street, in cobblestone squares, in Freetown. Our groups came back excited and rewarded to have the chance to ...

Copenhagen, Denmark cotafamily4... everyone has. There were also lots of baby animals this time of year and, surprisingly, most of the animals were awake and doing stuff. The first animals I saw were these monkeys. I forgot there was a video function on my camera because I should have caught the sound they were making. At first, I thought it was some really obnoxious kid whooping and making ridiculous ...
Copenhagen, Denmark sarahindenmarkIt had been about 4 hours since we were Stockholm and we finally managed to find our hotel in Copenhagen in the pouring rain and wind. Couldn't believe it was the middle of summer and it was about 10 degrees! The hotel was quite comfortable so that's exactly what we needed at that stage. Seeing as we only had a few hours in Copenhagen before we departed for Berlin, we decided that an early morning was in order! 8am. This was at least 4 hours later than we've been ...
Copenhagen, Denmark nelson_courts... long lasting friends. 4. Remember that "slut" means sale in Danish. Don't worry when you see it in all of the shop windows. =) 5. If you're a history buff like myself be sure to check out Bulbjerg, a German bunker from WWII, the Viking Museum in Roskilde, Fredensborg Palace, Hamlet's Castle, Lejre's Living History museum, and any small town. Oh boy, now I am itching to go back. Who ever thought I would fall in love with such a small, peaceful country?
