Skippergaten 7 Oslo, Oslo, Norway, 0152, 2247-7700

Oslo, Oslo, Norway salparadise... very front of the boat and watch the open seas. It was refreshing and we met some other American’s from California who were traveling to Norway for their daughter’s wedding to a Norwegian.<br><br>On the boat we kept very busy on a great internet connection, reading, playing cards, playing slot machines and buying stuff in the duty free shop.<br><br>Once we spotted land again we parked ourselves on the upper deck and were wide eyed at ...
Oslo, Oslo, Norway sasaharty... The main facilities 2 nightclubs, several restaurants, a cafe, a coffee shop and a duty free shop. You can guess where I ended up spending the little money that we did onboard. Yes, it was the coffee shop (with a token lap of the duty free of course)!! Oslo: Norway's capital is an easy-going city with an eclectic architectural mix of old, new and just plain 1960s that is hard not to like. The perfect size for exploring on foot, the city can ...
Oslo, Norway nomadicnikki... giving the quantity of them that we saw. Since it was a Sunday, many of them were tooling about, even with the foul weather. Yes, we were poured on yet again. Oslo "averages" 80 degrees and many sunny days in July. Today it rained, heavily at times, and was around 64 degrees. I still wore shorts - maybe because I had no clean jeans - but it helped, since soaked jeans are far worse than wet legs... It rained so hard at times that it seemed to be ...
Oslo, Norway poleary6... Gogh, Gaugin and Monet ... all the big guns really! Afterwards we walked around town and went and saw the brand new Opera House. It was a very interesting, I guess split level type building, where you could walk up the outside and onto the roof viewing area. Up early on the second day, to pack in as much as we could. We bought 24 hour Oslo passes for 220 NOK and managed about 600 NOK on each. We started off with ...
Oslo, Oslo, Norway traylertravels... the Americans that you meet traveling the world drive me mental. In fairness to him Ben was a nice guy so when he asked if he could tag along with me for the last stretch to the top i didn't mind one bit. By now the weather had turned really bad, the temperature had dropped quite considerably and we were engulfed in cloud, so much so that even seeing 100yards ahead was difficult. I was in two minds what to do at this point, the enjoyable trek up-to now was quickly becoming ...
Oslo, Oslo, Norway talamarko... Karen refugee who arrived in Norway last August along with her husband and children. Visited a friend from long ago in Oslo. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - We flew back from Oslo to London and then on to Chicago. Our flight was late coming to Chicago and we had to stay in a hotel and come home Friday morning. Whew! What a trip! Next time to this area will be in July, God-willing.
Oslo, Norway victorkubik... still horribly delicious, and rain is still cold and miserable where ever you go. However, we have not let any of this stop us from having a good time! I like my group a lot. From the beginning we have bad an excellent group dynamic, and I hope it stays that way! We've begun planning travel adventures around Scandinavia and Europe (ex. Oktoberfest!!) and I am very excited for all of it. Saturday night we were invited to our professors house to meet her ...
