... About 8:30, we grilled pork chops for dinner with ranch potatoes.  Dinner was consumed in the screen tent which provided protection against the multitude of hungry mosquitos that were looking for a little donation of our blood. ... being even better than we expected. The story that followed Nancy Ward's (Nanyehi's) life from her birth, through her time as a Cherokee warrior, to her time as Beloved Woman, the peace maker, and then to her death before The Trail of Tears was told (and sung) very well. Becky Hobbs did an outstanding job co-writing the play and writing ALL of the songs. We very much enjoyed our evening. ... to say the poorer schools were no good, in fact the opposite, but it was clear to us at least, by the way some were dressed etc. The school bands and the army cadets that were marching were excellent!! ... at the RV Park. We went for a little while to socialize but had other plans. On the city tour and also the ghost tour, we were told about the world famous Gus's chicken and wanted to give it a try. It is located in downtown Memphis neat Beale Street.
