... and moved up the street to the other government building that had a bunch of free parking and a work trailer of sorts that ensconced the appropriate windows we had to approach to get our papers and the papers for the truck, which as it turns out was the most important.

... a great atmosphere - everyone was getting shoutouts, yer man was going around serinading tables, guest Elvis impersonators were getting up for a song. We even had this chick from Denmark or somewhere who was obviously famous (had 10 grammy awards) and was in town to play. They did a song, and got up again at the end of the night. ... our campground in West Memphis, Arkansas around 10:40 and thank goodness we did. After we arrived the heavy rains came in for about an hour so it was better to watch the rain on the river than be on the highway trying to see where we were going. We cannot complain because we have not had a day of driving in the rain . We enjoyed our campground which I reviewed below very much.

Today was a day for laundry and just enjoying watching ...

... I've done my churchly duties for a while! My last day was packed with activities. I saw the legendary march of the ducks at the Peabody Hotel (they live at the hotel and everyday at 11am they come down the elevator, out across the red carpet and into the fountain there for the day. ... LA's Biltmore, is very beautiful.

Following the ducks, we headed to dinner at this place, Cozy Corner which is a barbecue joint. It was as good as yesterday's chicken. I don't love messy barbecue sauce, so I had the cornish game hen "dry" or with a dry rub. It was very well-cooked and the skin was tasty without being overwhelming.
