... like we would make it to the hotel by 6:00. However, 94 west was horrible. We hit multiple stretches of serious traffic - with no observable cause. I have no idea what the problem was. We would literally get through one patch, get back up to 70 mph, and then all of a sudden everyone was breaking again. It ended up adding an entire hour onto our drive. Then when we finally got to the Motel 6 we're staying at, ...

This morning, we helped Pam move some stuff to her sorority house where she is storing some things for the summer, and I got a tour of the house in the process! We then went out for breakfast at Madison Sourdough and dropped Pam back at her apartment and said our goodbyes.

Even driving only part of their span has taken several days and ...

A quick internet search (thanks AT&T) found a good priced motel at the next exit and so we crossed a few lanes and quickly found the motel! There was a micro brewery next door, with a great menu and so a 50 metre walk got us dinner and a ...

    Heading home

A travel blog entry by sanger.kayl on Jan 20, 2014

... ready. I headed out a little bit before 6am so I could get to the bus on time. Well, sadly in the dark I got a little confused as to where I was going. I thought that maybe I could do a shortcut by going through the train station instead of going around it. Well that was a joke. They told me to take the escalators, which I found. They just so happened to not be working. So I climbed the escalators like steps with my 50 pound suitcase. It was ...
