I woke up early this morning because I just couldn't sleep because I was full of excitement. Today I was to go to the 'Museum Of Natural History’ and the ‘Museum Of Modern Art’. It’s not really something people are usually excited about, but I consider myself an artist so I was excited.

Around 10:00am I arrived at my first museum, The Museum of Natural History’. I was so ...

... we both grabbed a banana and croissant from the boat, so by lunch, we were starving! Today, the treat was Ellen's Stardust Diner (recommendation from Eileen and Lindsey). It is diner near Times Square where the waiting staff are Broadway hopefuls. As well as serving, they take turns to sing as they walk around the diner and strand on the seats. I walked a little ways and then I spotted Dominique Ansel's Bakery booth. Maybe they had some cronuts! They didn't. But they were selling something called Kouign Amann. They described it as like a round croissant with a caramelized sugar top. I bought one to eat as I continued to walk. I almost fell to my knees in the middle of the street after ...

... just a little, and go on a Architectural river cruise along the Chicago River.

The next word that comes to my mind right now is "****".

The 75 minute journey took us around the Y shaped river between the ever so tall standing buildings. The host/tour guide was a young, hip girl, and although she'd probably repeated the same spiel a million times before, her genuine enthusiasm (and love) for the city made it that even more enjoyable.
