This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel in the past few months. I was traveling from the west to the east to visit family and it took me through Kalamazoo both times. When I was planning my trip back I did not hesitate to reserve a room at this hotel due to the service I received on my first visit. The staff were great and the free breakfast is a great bonus!

Two events in China put my declining fitness in perspective. First thing was when I was at the hot springs with my friends ...
... m really going to miss those Sundays (and Saturdays for college football). At least I got to see my Lions win their season opener; I'm telling you, this is their year...SUPERBOWL HERE WE COME!
Anyways I need to wake up in about 7 hours to drive to O'Hare tomorrow morning so I'll just cut off here. Off to go finish packing haha...hopefully my next post will be from China!
Peace and Go Lions,

On the bright side I was able to convince my equally not as hungry friends, Connor and Kevin, to also get meals and shakes with me. Now I won't be the only one with heart problems. Three cheers to peer pressure! Peace and Milkshakes, Tom ...
... some fig paste from Petone! So armed with that, crackers and mozzarella we were all set. The mozzarella was really tasty and a great texture - so different to anything I've tried at home where I think of mozzarella as flavourless and stringy. We had a fabulous BBQ with farmers market corn, tomatoes and steak and lovely cheese lady cheeses, superb! On Sunday we visited Saugatuck, which is about an hour away. It's this cutesy arty town which is a lot like Takaka or Mapua, only heaps ...
... 8221;. Here is the problem; I have enough cash to last a while in Germany, but
the ATM account was going to serve as my means while living there. So what do I
do now? It is 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Any bank will be closed today and
tomorrow. Now I have a call into the Bank of Alpena to hopefully get a hold of
me and send me a card in Germany.
I’ll keep you posted and let you all know how it turns out. ...
