Great staff, great location for travelers

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel in the past few months. I was traveling from the west to the east to visit family and it took me through Kalamazoo both times. When I was planning my trip back I did not hesitate to reserve a room at this hotel due to the service I received on my first visit. The staff were great and the free breakfast is a great bonus!

Actually this happened more than once, we've been kicked out of the weight room twice many times.

... an hour after eating dinner wasn't such a good idea. At this very moment, I'm fighting back the urge to puke. On the bright side I was able to convince my equally not as hungry friends, Connor and Kevin, to also get meals and shakes with me. Now I won't be the only one with heart problems. Three cheers to peer pressure! Peace and Milkshakes, Tom ...

... some fig paste from Petone! So armed with that, crackers and mozzarella we were all set. The mozzarella was really tasty and a great texture - so different to anything I've tried at home where I think of mozzarella as flavourless and stringy. We had a fabulous BBQ with farmers market corn, tomatoes and steak and lovely cheese lady cheeses, superb! On Sunday we visited Saugatuck, which is about an hour away. It's this cutesy arty town which is a lot like Takaka or Mapua, only heaps ...

the ATM account was going to serve as my means while living there. So what do I
do now? It is 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Any bank will be closed today and
tomorrow. Now I have a call into the Bank of Alpena to hopefully get a hold of
me and send me a card in Germany.
I’ll keep you posted and let you all know how it turns out. ...
